How to request estate agent quotes
Start with the city or main town where your property is located. You can search above or browse our Scottish location directory. Open your area’s shortlist, read about the agents and select “Request a quote”. The next page shows the agents included in your request before you send any personal details.
If your exact location is not listed, browse a nearby main town. Include your property’s postcode in your enquiry so the team and agents can check whether they cover your address. A place in the directory does not guarantee that every listed agent serves every nearby postcode.
What details should I include?
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address and property postcode. A phone number and message are optional. A few clear details can help the agents understand what you need:
- The type of property you plan to sell, such as a flat, detached house or bungalow.
- Whether you are ready to arrange a valuation or are gathering information for a future move.
- Your preferred times for contact or visits.
- Any questions about photographs, viewings, advertising or the service you would like.
What happens after I send my request?
Your enquiry goes to our team for review and manual forwarding to the agents named on the form. The request includes all agents shown on that page. Each agent must confirm availability and coverage for your property. Replies may arrive separately, and submitting the form does not book a valuation appointment.
You can use those replies to ask what each service includes, how fees are charged and who will keep you updated. Ask for written terms before deciding which agent to appoint. Sending an enquiry does not commit you to using any agent.
