Site session cookie

the-best-estate-agents-session keeps your session together. It supports form messages and secure admin sign-in. It is set by this website and normally expires after 120 minutes without activity.

Form security cookie

XSRF-TOKEN helps protect forms from requests sent by another website. It is set by this website and normally expires after 120 minutes without activity.

Spam protection on enquiry forms

When enabled, Google reCAPTCHA loads when you submit an enquiry. It checks for automated abuse before we accept the request. It may use the _GRECAPTCHA cookie and related browser storage for its security checks. Google controls their lifetime. We use the recaptcha.net script address to reduce exposure to other Google cookies.

reCAPTCHA sends device and browser information to Google for the check. Read Google’s privacy policy and its reCAPTCHA cookie information.

Remembering that you closed the notice

tbea_cookie_notice_v1 is stored in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. It records the notice version and when you closed it. We show the notice again after 180 days. It does not grant consent to tracking or identify you for advertising.

Your controls

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to reopen the notice. Essential cookies cannot be switched off here because they support security and forms. You can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking them may stop sign-in or enquiry forms from working.

If we introduce optional tracking, we will explain its purpose and add controls before it runs. Closing today’s notice is not permission for future tracking.

Other services

Fonts are served directly by this website, so viewing them does not send a request to Google Fonts. Links to review sites and estate agents take you to other websites with their own cookie policies.
